Why would a suspension bushing cost $2,659? And if it did cost $2.659, how could it be marked down to only $132? And why would a normal suspension bushing cost $9 somewhere else?

I think the list price might be a bit of a typo (or they are trying to make it seem like a really good deal. They might be fancy urethane bushings which can be rather expensive.

I’m assuming it’s a urethane bushing. That said that is still ridiculous

Perhaps and extra 0 on the end, but even then $265 for a bushing seems crazy.

I bought a full set of polyurethane bushings for my Civic for that price, and sway bar bushings (also poly) for my Mazda for only $10.

Yeah that whole list price is messed up. But, I’ve always wondered why Powerflex bushings are priced so much higher than prothane’s poly bushings. A full set of prothanes are like 1/3the price of a full set of Powerflex.

How are they? I’ve heard a lot of conflicting stuff about poly bushing. Some say they just add NVH and little feedback others say they tighten up the car a lot and give tons of feedback, yet others say they’re bad because they can bind the suspension.

They’re made from Panda testicles, now that they’re no longer endangered the value has hit rock bottom.

Yes, they do tighten the car up, that’s what they’re designed to do. More NVH also comes in as a tradeoff, since the bushings are now of stiffer rubber, most benefits are seen on the track, because that’s where likely more load is on components. I’ve installed the swaybar bushings on my Mazda, and got quite a bit of improvement. In its favour, the factory ones were on the verge of disintegrating.

not sure about the binding issue though, but on a proper setup they’ll work wonders.
